Apple Plans to USB-C For Lightning Charge
With the Apples coming big event, rumours about its products are taking down the internet. Its not so shocking to hear about its added up new features like Face ID, slimmed down display bezel as Apple does add up new features on every new iPhone they release, but what should really shock us is the change thats to be done on Apples I/O.
According to 9to5Mac, Ming-Chi-Kuo an Apple Analyst and speculator threw us hints on about them to be released Apple products. He expects the rumoured three iPhones to have Face ID and an exceptional change would be the switching from the lightning connector to USB-C.
This could possibly create a history on Apple, as it will be the first iOS device that will have a port thats not actually owned by the company.
The rumoured and yet to arrive iPad Pros in new 11-inch and 12.9-inch models will have an 18-watt USB-C charger within its accessories. Apple already creates USB-C cables separately. But the coming up line of iPhone will have a cable in the box that will be used for USB-A to Lightning.
This new 18-watt USB-C charger which will be replacing the old 5-watt USB-A charger which will be providing the new iPhone with the capacity to get charged faster.
According to reports the MFi (Made for iPhone) accessory makes will soon get an approval for USB-C lightning cable but at a higher cost.
