Facebook Family Of Apps Starts Working After Hours Of Outage
Here you unable to use Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram on Sunday for hours? Well, you must be aware that Facebook-owned apps suffered hours of outage for some unrevealed reason. Soon after Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram stopped working the affected users started to tweet about it and complained about how they are unable to use these applications.
Downdetector.com, a website that monitors outages, revealed that there were more than 12,000 users who reported about facing issues in accessing Facebook. In addition, Downdetector further revealed that the number of users later dropped to 2,000.
This isn’t the first time when Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram suffered an outage. Several similar incidents have been reported in the past this year. Back in March this the Facebook suite of apps suffered the longest ever outage of all times, affecting hundreds and thousands of users across the globe.
For the current outage, Facebook didn’t specify the reason for the outage. Commenting on the outage, a Facebook spokesman told Reuters, “Earlier today, some people may have experienced trouble connecting to the family of apps. The issue has since been resolved; we’re sorry for any inconvenience.” The social media platform further said that it resolve the issue was reported by several users on Sunday.
