HTC U11 Can Record 360-Degree Video Shows New Teaser, Launch Set For May 16
HTC U11 is launching on May 16. Ahead of the launch, the flagship phone has been subjected to several leaks and rumorus. Just the other day, full specs sheet of the HTC U11 leaked online, now a new teaser of the smartphone hits the web, and is going viral. The video teaser shows that the upcoming HTC flagship device HTC U11 is capable of recording 360 videos.
In the teaser, HTC says that their upcoming flagship device is capable of “360 real life recording”. This means that if the rumours prove right, HTC U11 will let the user’s record 360 degree video. However, this piece of information is not confirmed by the company as of now and hence should be taken with a pinch of salt and wait for May 16 launch.
Last day HTC U11 was spotted on GFXBench, which revealed the specs sheet of the phone. Although the sheet didn’t reveal any new information about the device, instead just confirmed the previously leaked ones. The listing almost confirms that the upcoming HTC flagship will come packed with a 5.5-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage. However, an info-graphics leaked earlier shows the device with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage space. So, this somewhat indicates that the smartphone might come in two RAM and storage variants.
Earlier, HTC U11 was also spotted on GeekBench. The listing reveals that the smartphone might run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be further powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor which also powers the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and also the Xiaomi Mi 6. Not only that, if rumours turn true, the upcoming OnePlus 5 will also be seen with the same SoC.
On the camera front, the HTC U11 is expected to pack a 12-megapixel camera on the rear which comes also with OIS and HTC’s “UltraPixel 3” and “UltraSpeed AF” brandings. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter which is paired with f/2.0 and selfie panorama. Further, on the display front, HTC U11 is speculated to sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD display which is further expected to be protected by a Gorilla Glass 5.
Apart from these, HTC U11 has been subjected to several other leaks and rumous. However, these should be taken with a pinch of salt for now and wait for the May 16 launch.
