India Overtakes US In Demand For Mobile Developer Courses
According to a report by tech giant Google, India takes down the US this year becoming the largest country in terms of the online course that is required for mobile app development. Search queries from India on mobile development course saw a 200 per cent growth in the last two years. States like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra were those that resulted with bulk searches on mobile developer courses.
The Head of Google Developer Training, Peter Lubbers said in a statement “We have seen tremendous response across mobile developer courses from India, with 16,500 students enrolling every month, taking up Android development, mobile web development and learning new cloud-based technology courses,”
India exceeds the US on Smartphone usage with a difference of 220 million actives devices, which could be the main reason why people take interest in learning mobile app development courses.
Leading mobile development courses in India are offered by Simplilearn, Udacity, Eureka, Koenig, Manipal Global and upgrade. The CEO OF Simplilearn said “Over 65 per cent of our mobile developer learners in India comprise of college students and fresh graduates, compared to the US where 60 per cent of the learners are working professionals between the age group 25-44,”
A course called as the Android Fundamental would be offered over 40 private and state technical universities as starting from 2017.
