Lenovo’s Z6 Pro With 100MP Camera Count-Down Ends Today

For the last couple of years, Lenovo hasn’t been precisely scoring high in the smartphone industry. The Chinese tech company that owns Motorola too has been focusing highly on its PC segment while the phone segment has been out of focus for a while.

Earlier this year, Lenovo intended to transmute that with the Z5 Pro GT a premium smartphone with a sliding exhibit and the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Within four months, Lenovo is preparing to launch the Z6 Pro. And this time, Lenovo is wagering high with the camera.

The Z6 Pro is being teased for a few months and Lenovo is fixating on the phone’s rear camera setup that can shoot 100-megapixel photos. Affirmative, the Z6 Pro can shoot pictures in 100-megapixel resolution. Qualcomm pointed at phone cameras with more than 48-megapixels resolution coming in 2019 and Lenovo’s Z6 Pro is the first one distributing on that claim.

Previous teasers have shown some of the phone’s features and even a detailed view at the box. As with all flagship phones this year, Lenovo will be utilizing the Snapdragon 855 chipset and will offer up to 12GB RAM in the most sumptuous variant. The phone will come preloaded with ZUI 11, which is expected to be built on Android 9 Pie.

The most hyped feature of the Z6 Pro has to be the rear camera. Lenovo has been teasing the Hyper Video feature of the camera for a while and the faculty to shoot 100-megapixel photos. The officially relinquished designations sheet suggests there will a total of four cameras at the back – 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel.

The setup suggests that the Z6 Pro will be able to utilize Pixel Binning and to achieve up to 100-megapixel shots – homogeneous to how the other phones with 48-megapixel cameras shoot photos in full 48-megapixels. The front camera will have a 32-megapixel shooter and will be sitting in a waterdrop notch.

The exhibit will quantify 6.39-inches and is expected to feature an in-exhibit dactylogram sensor. A 4000mAh battery will keep the phone alive. Lenovo will withal offer liquid cooling system and Dolby audio with the Z6 Pro. The smartphone will be unveiled today and it is expected that Lenovo will aim for pricing that could rival the upcoming OnePlus 7, i.e around Rs 40,000.

It isn’t kenned whether Lenovo will bring this phone to India but considering Lenovo has been eschewing the Indian market for a while with its flagships, the Z6 Pro stands little chance of making it here.
