Microsoft Announces Skype For Business Preview In Office 365

Microsoft has announced availability of the technical previews that form a part of Skype for Business. According to Smp Blogs, the users need to be an Office 365 enterprise subscriber to test it.

The users can now register for access to Skype Meeting Broadcast, which is a largely device-agnostic video conferencing tool for meetings with up to 10,000 participants.

The preview features include the ability to take feedback from attendees via Yammer integration and Bing Pulse sentiment tracking. Also, enterprise users can now register for PSTN Conferencing, which lets the people dial into a Skype for Business meeting in Office 365 from a landline or mobile.

This is currently open in the US only. In addition, another technical preview is Cloud PBX with PSTN Calling, which allows the business users to make and receive phone calls via Skype for business, with the addition of features like hold, resume, forward and transfer.

For now, this is currently open in the US only. End-users cannot actually sign up for the trials though, so they will need to register if they are interested.

  • Hello are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own. Do you require any coding knowledge to make your own blog? Any help would be really appreciated!

  • By having that much written content do you get any issues of copyright violation? My site has lots of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d truly appreciate it.

  • I’ve been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
