Samsung W2016 Is Android Flip Phone With Two Displays
South Korean giant Samsung has unveiled a new Android flip phone christened the W2016 that comes with two displays, one on the inside and the other on the outside. The W2016 has been listed on the company’s official website for China without pricing and availability details.
The Samsung W2016 is a flip phone that features a T9 physical keyboard with dual touchscreens. The two screens are each 3.9-inches and boast of a Super Amoled panel with a WXGA (768×1280 pixels) resolution.
The W2016 is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor (unspecified chipset) with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which is non-expandable. The 4G LTE capable phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based TouchWiz UI on top.
The phone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Connectivity options include: 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery and supports fast-charging.
Samsung also recently listed the new Galaxy J3 on its official website for China along with its full spec sheet. The Galaxy J3 has a 5-inch HD Super Amoled display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card.
It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash along with a a 5-megapixel camera up-front.
