WhatsApp Now Lets You Bold And Italicise Your Messages
One of the biggest reasons behind the massive success of WhatsApp is its continuous effort to keep the messaging app more fun, engaging, and interesting. The Facebook owned chat app has rolled out another update that will allow text formatting, which means users will now be able to bold or italicise the texts.
In a previous update, WhatsApp had included the feature of sharing local pdf files on the app. With this latest update, the app will let the users convert Google docs and sheets into pdf format before sharing it. The version has to be updated on both the ends in order to access these updates.
For now the update can be downloaded from the company’s official site only. The beta version is available on Google PlayStore and one has to sign up to be a part of WhatsApp tester programme.
WhatsApp in recent past has rolled out numerous updates for its messaging service. The chat app recently extended its file sharing ability by allowing the users to share pdf files on the app for both iOS and Android platforms. For iOS users, Pinch to zoom feature in videos is also available where the users can zoom in the videos while it is playing within the app.
Other new and interesting additions to the app include array of new emojis, shared link history tab and ability to add 256 members to any group on the app.
The instant messaging app also recently revamped its settings page with alterations in the positioning of the icons. This is the fourth update rolled out by the company in the last two months. Founded in 2009, WhatsApp today has a user base of about 1 billion across the globe.
