Xiaomi Mi 4i Crosses 3 Lakh Registration Mark On Flipkart For April 30 Sale
Xiaomi had begun registrations for its newly launched Mi 4i just four days ago on Flipkart. Now, the company’s India head Manu Kumar Jain has announced that the smartphone has garnered more than 3 lakh registrations already. The sale is to begin on April 30 at 2.00PM and the registration window will shut tomorrow at midnight.
It is imperative to register in order to participate in the sale. Flipkart recommends users to register themselves on the ecommerce site,and fill in their payment details prior to the sale. It also suggests that users be online prior to the sale to up their chances to grab the device. There is no word on how many units will be up for grabs during the first sale.
The Xiaomi Mi 4i sports a 5-inch full HD IPS OGS display and is powered by a second-generation 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It also features 16GB internal memory, but no option to expand it.
On the photography front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone flash. Secondary camera shapes up in the form of a 5-megapixel sensor, with f/1.8 aperture and 80 degrees wide-angle lens.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The Mi 4i is also the first smartphone in the company’s lineup to run on Android Lollipop wrapped under MIUI 6.
