Xiaomi Mi 5X Pre-Registration First Sale Crosses 2 Lakh Mark
Xiaomi, the Chinese Smartphone maker have announced about its new launch called Mi 5X through Weibo, a Chinese micro-blogging site. The launch date for China has been announced as July 26 along with a poster which gave us a glimpse of what its going to look like on hands.
The pre-registration for its first sale started on Wednesday and just within 24 hours, the registration crossed 200,000 marks. And this was only in China.
The specifications of the Smartphone Mi 5X are 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, powered by Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, fingerprint scanner and dual primary camera of 12 & 12 megapixel and 5-megapixel front camera.
The device is expected to run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and can be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. According to released posters, it could also have a fingerprint scanner on its rear. The panel can be of three different colors black, gold and rose gold.
Within the first 12 hours the Smartphone got 139,359 pre-registrations and within 24 hours exactly 209,900 pre-registrations. There are also reports claiming that few luck pre-registered customers may also have the chance to win smartwatch or the Mi 5X itself.
And about pricing a previously leaked report hint it to be CNY 1,999 (around $295) which is approximately Rs. 19,000. There are also reports claiming that Mi 5X will be much costlier than Mi 5.
