Yahoo Launches LiveNext Messaging App Worldwide
There is a girth of messaging applications available on all major platforms. The applications don’t only offer average texting but also come with various formats which makes the user experiment with different mediums of expressions. A new application launched by Yahoo is introducing a new LiveText format.
The beta version of the application, dubbed LiveText, had been released in limited markets last month which included, US, Hong Kong etc. The application has finally been released globally and can be downloaded from both iOS and Android application stores.
The USP of this messaging platform is its different format which includes live video messages without any background voice. The user can send clips of videos without using sound and mainly by using expressions and gestures. The philosophy behind this approach is that it will let people simplify the conversations by excluding words from the mix. The use of expressions will also be quicker in comparison to typing, given that the data connection supports sufficient upload and download speeds.
We are not sure if the application will be able to make a mark in the neck deep sea of messaging applications but just like Snapchat, this video application has a unique element that can fetch a lot of users.
